There has been a change in the list of chess players participating at Shamkir Chess 2015, international tournament in the memory of Vugar Gashimov. Azerbaijani grandmaster Teymour Rajabov cannot take part in the super tournament due to health reasons.
The 10 th chess player to take part in the tournament will be an English chess grandmaster Michael Adams (FIDE Rating 2746).
Thus, the list of participants at ShamkirChess2015 which is organized with sponsorship of Synergy Group OJSC is following: world champion Magnus Carlsen, former world champions Viswanathan Anand and Vladimir Kramnik, as well as Fabiano Caruana, Anish Giri, Wesley So, Maxime Vachier-Lagrave, Michael Adams, and Azerbaijani grand masters, Shakhriyar Mamedyarov and the last winner of Azerbaijan Championship Rauf Mammadov.
